DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL (D)
All guests are warmly welcomed upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport by our local guide then transfer to check in the hotel.
Enjoy the special Vietnamese traditional art of water puppetry as well as Vietnamese folklore through a compelling puppet show at Thang Long Theatre. Dinner will be serve at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.
DAY 2: HANOI - HALONG (B/L/D)
After breakfast, transfer to visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace, Ba Dinh Square, Uncle Ho' Still House, One Pillar Pagoda, continues to visit Temple of Literature, see Vietnam’s first university, constructed in 1070 - its gardens and well-preserved architecture will offer a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam’s past. Then continue on to the Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda at West Lake (One of the oldest pagodas in Vietnam). Lunch at local restaurant.
After lunch, transfer to Halong Bay - UNESCO World Heritage site (160km driving one way - 2.5hrs drive). This will be your first opportunity to see some of the rural areas of Vietnam. The drive goes through the Red River delta, so we'll have plenty of chance for taking photo of Vietnamese farmers tilling the vast green paddy field. Arrival Halong, check-in the hotel. Dinner at the local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Halong.
DAY 3: HALONG BAY - HANOI (B/L/D)
Morning, breakfast at hotel between 6-7 AM, transfer to the dock for boarding a cruise boat to explore the legendary Ha Long Bay. Ha Long means Descending Dragon in Vietnamese as legend has it that a holly dragon landed down here from sky. The bay, famous as one of the world’s wonders and heritage sites whose formation dates back 500 million years, consists of around 2,000 karst islands and islets scattered over an area of 1,553 km2. Our boat will bring us to visit Kissing Chicken Rock, Fisherman Village. The boat will stop at Dau Go Island for you to visit Thien Cung Cave (Heaven Palace). Continue cruising while fresh seafood lunch is served on board. Return to the dock, disembark and travel back to Hanoi.
Arrive Hanoi, visit Hoan Kiem Lake (Restored Sword Lake) and shopping at 36 Old Quarter before enjoying welcome dinner at authentic Vietnamese restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.
DAY 4: HANOI DEPARTURE (B)
Free at leisure and then transfer to the Noi Bai International Airport for your departure flight for the next destination. End of services!
